More changes are coming to Disney’s California Adventure theme park. This summer Condor Flats (which holds Soarin’ Over California) is changing to Grizzly Peak Airfield. Don’t fret, the beloved Soarin’ is being updated, not replaced. According to Robert Niles from Theme Park Insider; “Disney’s new plan for the area will make the former Condor Flats an extension of the much more beloved Grizzly Peak, with better landscaping and decoration to match the rest of that land.” I love when Disney makes changes and additions to the park, especially when they are trying to make an area that is lacking more vibrant. The 2012 completion of the entrance and Buena Vista Street were amazing. The addition to Cars Land has really helped the park, which has never preformed as well at Disney originally had hoped. I am a huge fan of California Adventure and love how different it is than Disneyland. Disneyland will always be my first love, even over the Magic Kingdom, but I do have an itch for another Disney World trip soon.
“Disneyland is something that will never be finished. It’s something that I can keep developing. It will be a live, breathing thing that will need change.”
